The beats

Eight beats, drawn from what actually comes off the EngiExpo floor. Each story carries its beat as a kicker; a beat opens its own page once it has two stories, and the number beside it is how many are there now.

Questions

What is EngiNewsIndia?

A daily news site about engineering and industry in India — machine tools, automation, energy, infrastructure, policy, MSME and exhibitions — written for the people who run and supply factories in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan. Every story links the document it comes from.

Who publishes it?

2 Way Advertising, the Ahmedabad firm behind the EngiExpo industrial exhibitions. The site is built and maintained by Tezi Communications LLP. The editor is Ansuman Agarwal.

How is a story written?

In three parts, always in the same order: what happened, with the primary source linked; why it matters to a shop-floor owner in western India; and what happens next, with a date or a plain statement that none has been given. No unsourced claims, no stock tips.

Which parts of India does its manufacturing news cover?

Western India first: the Pune, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Vadodara, Surat and Jaipur clusters, across Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan. National policy is covered when it changes something for a plant in those states. The manufacturing news runs across eight beats, from machine tools and automation to policy, schemes and MSME, and a beat opens its own page once it has two stories.
